Recruiting Process Just like with the Search Analysis meeting with our clients, our motto with recruiting is NO SURPRISES! Our goal is to identify all potentially surprising issues up front so no one is surprised at the back-end of the search process. On every search, we thoroughly investigate the professionals in the local market before a relocation candidate is considered. When TaxSearch® has identified potential candidates, we conduct in-depth interviews covering their background and their willingness to make a change. We take great care to ensure that your goals and those of the candidates are a match. We thoroughly screen candidates on technical and project management, and leadership skills. We discuss each candidate’s career needs to ensure there will be a long term career match for each client. Lastly we discuss how a job change will impact the families’ wants and needs. We proactively explore all relocation issues up front including speaking with spouses in detail every time relocation is involved. Because of our niche in the tax market, we have the ability to thoroughly investigate candidates through “backdoor references.” This means we can speak with people in the tax community off the record about a candidate’s technical skills and the personality match for our clients. Throughout the search process, we provide each client with weekly status reports that can be customized to meet our client’s needs.
